Your Privacy Choices

Control what Enginestand.com collects about you, and make a request about information we already hold.

Cookies and tracking

Below is what is currently allowed in this browser. You can change it at any time, and changing it does not affect your ability to buy from us.

Always on

Strictly necessary

Runs the store itself: your cart and checkout, sign-in, fraud screening, the structured product data search engines read, and the record of the privacy choices you make on this page. These cannot be switched off, because without them the site does not work.

Functional

Display features in our storefront theme, such as category icons and product tags. Turning these off may make parts of the site look or behave differently.

Analytics

Google Analytics 4, and the storefront code that reports page and product events to it, so we can see which pages and products people actually use. Event-level data is kept for 2 months and user-level data for 14 months.

Targeting and advertising

Advertising and cross-site measurement. We do not currently run any advertising or re-targeting tag on this site, so this category is empty today. The control stays here so that your choice is already on record if that ever changes.

Checking your current settings…

Changes are saved as soon as you confirm them, and take effect the next time a page loads.

Global Privacy Control

Checking…

Global Privacy Control is a setting in your browser, or a browser extension, that tells every site you visit not to sell or share your personal information. We honor it automatically. You do not have to do anything else here, and you do not have to tell us who you are.

One limitation, stated plainly: our store runs on a hosted platform that does not give us access to the request headers your browser sends, so we detect the signal through the property your browser exposes to the page rather than the header itself. Browsers and extensions that send the header nearly always expose the property as well, but the two are not identical.

Your rights

If you are a California resident, you can ask us to do any of the following. Exercising these rights costs nothing and we will not treat you differently for it.

  • Know. What personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we disclosed it to.
  • Access. A copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Delete. Deletion of the personal information we hold about you, subject to the records we are required to keep, such as completed order and tax records.
  • Correct. Correction of personal information about you that is inaccurate.
  • Opt out of sale or sharing. Use the Global Privacy Control signal above, or the cookie preferences control, or write to us.
  • Limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information for the purposes this right covers.

How to make a request

Enginestand.com is operated by Honest Solutions, LLC. You can reach us about any of the rights above in any of these ways:

Email  customerservice@enginestand.com
Phone  1 (888) 632-4626, Monday to Friday 9:00am to 4:30pm Eastern
Mail    Honest Solutions, LLC — Privacy Request, 1035 Data Lane, Knoxville, TN 37932

Tell us which right you want to use. You may also have an authorized agent make a request for you, in which case we will ask for written proof that you authorized them.

We will confirm we received your request within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days. If we need longer we will tell you why before that deadline, and take no more than 90 days in total.

To protect your information from someone pretending to be you, we have to verify who you are before we act on a request to know, access, delete, or correct. Usually that means matching the email address you write from, and details of an order, against what is in our records. We use what you send us for verification only, and do not keep it afterwards for anything else.

If we deny your request, our reply will say why. You can respond to that same email to ask us to reconsider.

This page covers your choices. Our Privacy Policy describes in full what we collect, who receives it, and how long we keep it.
