Warranty for Core Engine Stand Components
MechMan warrants the core structural and functional components of the Running Engine Stand— including the frame, mounting hardware, brackets, and engine mounting arms— to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years, beginning on the date the product is delivered to the customer.
Included Accessories (Complete System Kits Only)
Accessories included in the "Complete System" kits—such as wiring harnesses, fuel system components, sensors, and other ancillary parts—are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from the date the product is delivered to the customer.
Individual Accessories (Purchased Separately)
Accessories such as fuel, electrical, or radiator components that are purchased individually— outside of a complete system kit—are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from the date the product is delivered to the customer.
2. Warranty Limitations and Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
Normal wear and tear
Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, improper installation, or unauthorized modifications
Damage caused by using the product with non-compatible systems or parts
Labor charges for removal or installation
Loss of use, downtime, or any incidental or consequential damages
3. Warranty Claim Procedure
Contact MechMan Customer Service at 1-888-MECHMAN or email service@mechman.com with a description of the issue.
Provide proof of delivery (e.g., tracking confirmation) and a copy of the original sales invoice.
A MechMan Warranty Specialist will review your case and provide specific instructions for return shipment, which may vary depending on the nature of the issue and the components involved.
If the warranty claim is approved, MechMan will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective component. For valid claims, return shipping within the continental United States will be covered by MechMan when applicable.
4. Disclaimer
This Limited Warranty is the sole warranty provided by MechMan. No other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, shall apply. Some states do not allow exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.
Warranty Disclaimer for MechMan Alternator Units
Automotive Alternators 2-Year Repair Warranty
Thank you for choosing MechMan alternators. We stand behind the quality of our products and offer a limited two-year repair warranty on all MechMan automotive alternators. This warranty allows you to return your MechMan alternator for repair within two years from the original purchase date.
Coverage and Conditions:
This warranty covers repairs to the MechMan alternator only and does not extend to other parts or equipment on the vehicle. Labor expenses related to the removal or installation of the alternator are not covered under this warranty. Please note that any alterations, physical abuse, misuse, improper installation, or use of the alternator outside its intended application will void the warranty. The MechMan two-year warranty is non-transferrable and is applicable only to the original purchaser. Customers must provide a copy of the original invoice to receive warranty service when sending in their alternator for repair.
Shipping Information:
Customers are responsible for shipping the alternator to the MechMan facility for warranty service. MechMan will cover the cost of return shipping for customers located in the continental 48 United States for in-warranty alternators; within reason. Customers with shipping addresses outside this area are responsible for the cost of return shipping. Return shipping is not covered for in-warranty alternator units that are tested with no problems found.

Warranty Disclaimer for MechMan Alternator Units
Return Policy:
MechMan alternators are crafted to order, ensuring the highest quality and performance. We offer a return policy for new and unused standard-issue MechMan alternators in their default configuration within 30 days from the date of purchase. After a thorough inspection, returned standard-issue alternators will be subject to a 10% restocking fee. The customer is responsible for shipping costs to the Mechman facility. The original unit received back for return must be in “like new” condition before a refund will be made. If the unit received is not in “like new” condition it will not be eligible for return or an applicable increased restocking fee. Please note that any custom orders with specific regulator, finish, or pulley modifications are non-returnable.

"Like new" condition refers to an item that appears and functions as if it were brand new or almost new, with minimal to no signs of wear, damage, or defects. It should be pristine or near perfect, without any noticeable scratches, dents, or blemishes. An item described as being in "like new" condition is expected to perform as if it were fresh out of the box, with all original features and functionalities intact. It should be clean and well-maintained, showing little to no evidence of previous use. In summary, a "like new" condition means that the item is in an excellent state, almost indistinguishable from a new product, and would meet the expectations of a brand-new item's performance and appearance.
